Rancho Santa Fe Dining Room

I love the challenge of an arched window and this dining room was no exception. I worked with Dana, owner of the The Dana Touch to create this elegant window treatment. Although it was a big beautiful window, the afternoon sun is intense and the homeowner was concerned about sun damage but didn't want a dark, dull room, plus she wanted to maintain the shape of the arch. Showing off the shape of an arched window can be tricky if you also want drapes you can pull opened and closed. The solution was this gorgeous semi sheer Stroheim fabric to silhouette the shape of the window while blocking harmful UV rays without darkening the room. When the sun is not so intense the treatment is opened to reveal the arch and the sheers stack back to create a frame around the window enhancing its shape. We used sleek, polished chrome hardware with Ripplefold pleats to create a sleek, sophisticated look.
